With over 25 years experience, we have been installing and servicing fireplaces to a quality that meets the highest standards. The owner and main installer, Dave Rayner, has strived to provide excellence in fireplace renovations with a wide range of quality products and installations that don't just stop when the unit is put in place. Ye Olde Hearth Shoppe really is "your fireplace renovation experts". Our sales representatives will help you choose the right model to meet your requirements and help plan the installation, including everything from location to finishing. We are one of the only companies in the city, and probably throughout Manitoba and North West Ontario, that complete framing, drywalling, tile work, carpentry, masonry as a complete project.

Many customers have walked in with a picture and have had that translated perfectly into their home. If you are not yet sure about what type of finishing might be best for your home, we will work with you to develop ideas that will suit your needs - wether contemporary and modern or traditional and elegant, or even somewhere in between, all of our staff want to help you add a touch of warmth to your home that you will love for many years to come.

Once we have installed the last finishing touch, our job is not yet done. The Ye Olde Hearth Shoppe staff is available for questions, like what is the best wood to burn or how to relight your pilot light in fall, any questions that you might have about your new fireplace, stove or insert, and our the servicing side of the company, Ye Olde Soot Sweepers, will provide all the maintenance and repairs to your existing or new system. It is not just the up until the first fire that we will assist you but for all servicing and cleaning requirements.

Ye Olde Soot Sweepers, the parent company of Ye Olde Hearth Shoppe, was the first to open those many years ago as a small chimney sweeping company and has become the largest chimney sweep company in Winnipeg and has earned a positive repuation throughout Manitoba and North Western Ontario. Ye Olde Hearth Shoppe opened in 2002 when Soot Sweepers moved to its current location 942 St. James Street, situated only a doorways distance from Hearth Shoppe's showroom.
